General
information about the F3A European Championship
The first European
Championship was held on 1976 and since 1984 they are held every two years.
Wolfgang Matt participated at every contest and till 2002 finished five
times as champion, four times as vice champion and can be considered as
the most successful pilot at the European Championships. Last but not
least, Roland Matt, also very successful, had till 2002 already three
titles as vice champion and two 3rd places on his account.

1994 - Opening of the European Championship in
Liechtenstein
The team with
Wolfgang Matt, Roland Matt and Norbert Matt as pilots became in 1992 for
the first time European Champion. Later the team got in the years 1994
and 1998 again the titles as European Champion.
